ProFractional - Medical Laser Resurfacing Handpieces

What it is

ProFractional treats a portion of the skin at a time, resulting in new collagen production and a dramatic reduction in texture, fine lines, deep wrinkles, the appearance of scars, and pigmented lesions like sunspots, freckles, and actinic keratosis.

The treatment’s tunable technology offers superficial to deep resurfacing for all skin types.

Fine Depth Tunability
ProFractional utilizes an erbium:YAG laser with a high ablation efficiency and very little thermal conduction. Customize your treatment with ProFractional’s fine depth tunability to target and treat skin concerns in various layers of the dermis, up to 1500 microns.

Dynamic Size Adjustment
Adjust your laser pattern size based on the size and pattern that will best address your patient’s treatment area and individual needs.

Coagulation & Ablation
ProFractional allows independent adjustment of ablation depth and coagulation that emulate a CO2 laser, so there’s no need to stock your practice with lower-quality fractional lasers.

Technology
ProFractional offers several key benefits for patients and providers, including:

ProFractional achieves an ablation depth of between 25 µm to 1500 µm depth with exacting precision.

The greater the treatment density, the more aggressive the treatment. ProFractional® utilizes a 25um spot, and ProFractional® uses a 430 µm spot size and predefined treatment densities for greater speed.

The predefined densities feature array patterns that use random placement and sequence of energy deposition which can reduce proprioception during treatment, leading to greater overall comfort.

ProFractional users have the ability to adjust the depth of ablation and coagulation independently.

02. Targeted Treatment Area
Unlike full field resurfacing which removes the entire surface area of a treatment site, ProFractional ablates narrow-diameter channels into the skin, covering a fraction of the total treatment area. This action initiates the body’s wound healing response, while leaving the surrounding tissue intact for rapid healing.

03. Custom Treatment Plan
The doctor selects ablation depth, coagulation, density, and scan pattern options to custom tune the treatment. A laser guide beam indicates the target area over the treatment area for ultimate precision.
