- Data interface to PC
Application Areas
Vascular diagnostics
A non-invasive and continuous transcutaneous monitoring of the oxygen supply of the tissue (oxygenation/microcirculation) can provide valuable diagnostic insights in these areas:
The transcutaneous oxygen partial pressure (tcpO2) supplies information on the oxygen supply of the tissue. Changes in the oxygen absorption, transport and the deoxygenation can be read from the tcpO2 value. If circulatory problems arise, they can be verified as peripheral vasoconstrictions in the skin – even before the major organs are damaged.
- The tcpo2 measurement optimise the diagnosis on patients with peripheral angiopathy
- Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD)
- Prognosis of the wound healing probability
- Determination of the optimum amputation height
- Post-operative healing prognoses
- Vitality monitoring after lobe implantation
