The original hip positioner, our time-tested surgical positioning device for hip surgeries. The latest generation of the McGuire Pelvic Positioner, which was IMP's original lateral positioner for THA. The McGuire was one of the first hip positioners with over 25 years of clinical success. With removable and independently adjustable anterior arms, it allows for more accurate contact with the iliac crests and accommodates all patient anatomies. The ULP provides stable, lateral decubitus positioning and creates a reproducible point of reference for primary and revision arthroplasty. Our patented hyperflexion plate allows up to 120° of flexion during ROM testing.

Product Details

  • One size does not fit all. Our ULP Base Plates come in 2 sizes-Standard 22' and Large 25'. Arms come in 2 sizes-Standard Superior 8' and Large Superior 11'.
  • Features on our Standard and Large ULP Positioners like swivel and non-swivel arms on the anterior support column, horizontally adjustable superior arms and adjustable and removable inferior arms allow for more options in the O.R.
  • The adaptable and fully adjustable system allows for easier accommodation of larger sized patients.
