BOWA MEDICAL ARC 303 – More than just standard for electrosurgery
The ARC 303 is convincing with useful functions such as AUTOSTART and safety features such as EASY neutral electrode monitoring or the integrated error memory and permanent Self-check ISSys. The ARC CONTROL arc regulator ensures reproducible tissue effects and reliable power metering. It adjusts the power output to the minimum required depending on tissue differences and changes in cutting surface or speed.
Various applications require the simultaneous use of electrosurgery at several sites:
- Gynaecology, e.g. mastectomy
- Trauma surgery, e.g. polytrauma
With the simultaneous activation of two handles, the ARC 303 enables haemostasis by two surgeons.

With 300 W, the ARC 303 from BOWA MEDICAL offers the ideal preconditions for resections with monopolar resectoscopes and hysteroscopes. Vaporisations can be performed.
GastroCut for Gastroenterology
With the GastroCut modes of the ARC 303, gastroenterologists can achieve the best results in polypectomy, papillotomy and endoscopic resections with loops or knife electrodes. The pulse sequence of the cutting and coagulation current can be variably adjusted to three speeds, 'slow', 'medium' and 'fast', for the respective requirements. Thus, each step is already optimised. The coagulation effect can be easily regulated in nine stages using the effect setting. This allows both careful work to avoid complications and a quick procedure.

The ARC 303 can be ideally combined with ARC PLUS for argon-assisted electrosurgery. The ARC PLUS is used as an additional device for precise contactless coagulation with maximum perforation protection and easy dosability. A less complicated and safe way of carrying out effective haemostasis and the devitalisation of tissue anomalies through homogeneous surface coagulation at a limited penetration depth.
