Asensus Senhance - Surgical System with Digital Laparoscopy
The Senhance® Surgical System removes the economic limitations of current robotic systems with standard reusable instruments and an open-platform architecture strategy that enables hospitals to leverage existing technology investments. That keeps time and cost-per-procedure comparable to manual laparoscopy, so that the benefits of robotics can reach more patients, in more care settings, for a greater variety of procedures.
Features
- Haptic feedback of the platform heightens the surgeon sensing of pressure/tension through alerts if pressure threshold is reached for an added layer of security not currently available elsewhere. Standard reusable instruments keep costs similar to traditional laparoscopic instruments
- Allows the surgeon to be seated in an economically comfortable position throughout the procedure
- A digital fulcrum sets a dynamic virtual pivot point that helps potentially minimize the incision trauma
- Open-plaltform arclirtecture allows use and integration of existing OR technoloaies to benefit from car)ital investments and sudoort suraeon preference.
- Digital laparoscopy maintains familiar motion, ancillan/tools and techniques
- Eye-tracking camera control; whereby the system can sense the surgeon's eye activity allowing camera control.
- The 3D HD visualization provides the surgeon with additional intelligence regarding depth and spatial relation of organs.
OR Efficiency
- No direct docking to the patient, minimal docking time: the table can easily be repositioned by simply
- removing instruments from standard lap trocars to support frequent operating room table movements during surgery.
- Utilizes standard reusable instruments to keep costs similar to those of traditional laparoscopic instruments
- and an open-platform architecture to integrate with existing operating room technologies.
- The easy and quick setup of the system does not add significant time to the overall procedure.
- The system is designed for a minimal learning curve with familiar laparoscopic motion, approach to help quickly achieve efficient and effective clinical operations.
- The open-platform architecture allows for seamless integration of surgeon or hospital vision system preferences.
- Designed to minimize disruptions or interruptions of the procedure flow.
