VUP Medical, a.s.
We are a company with a history of research and innovation since 1949. We develop and manufacture first-class vascular prostheses, hernia, and wound healing products, which are used by many renowned hospitals in the Czech Republic and abroad. Our company was founded as the Knitting Research Institute, which was a world-renowned state research institution focused on research and development of special medical textiles. It has been privately owned since 1991. Since the beginning of its existence, our company has focused on the research and development of knitted medical devices. Our knitted vascular prosthesis with collagen, which we are constantly improving, has become an indispensable aid to vascular surgeons when performing vascular reconstructions. Later, we added dressing materials and hernia meshes to our range of medical devices. We are pleased that our products are helping doctors and patients in more than 40 countries around the world.
